Command-Line Tools for Productivity and Extentions

Monitis’ Command-Line Tools allow you to run Monitis' functions from the Linux/UNIX or Windows terminals. This lets you d tasks without a web interface by utilizing the Monitis API.

There are two obvious advantages of command-line-interfaces (CLIs):

• The user is able to script a sequence of commands to perform an automation/integration task
• The second advantage is that everything can be done from sometimes more convenient interface

While many computer users have become dependent on graphics-based programs, the most skilled and accomplished computer users know that the command line (i.e., terminal) is still the best tool for getting the job done.  Users can also build their own workflows using shell scripts. The output can be saved as a plain text file or as comma separated values (CSV). The files can be later opened in Excel or Word for performance or failure root cause analysis.
